Simpson sisters Jessica and Ashlee the Simpson sisters to launch tween fashion line

Simpson sisters Jessica and Ashlee have announced a new tween clothing line, making fashion, not singing, the new family business.

Jessica has been raking in the big bucks -– she's set to reach $1 billion in sales by the end of 2011 -- since she started the Jessica Simpson Collection, featuring trendy clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories for what is important for women.
Now she's very much hoping to take over the tween market world market too, with Ashlee's help and "savvy rocker"  rocking style.
"Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the real brand," Jessica tells Women's Daily Wear. "I'm excited to bring with my sister, Ashlee, along as the co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today's tweens."
Ashlee, who split from her Fall Out Boy hubby, Pete Wentz, in February, adds, "My goal as the co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire most young girls to express their personalities with creativity through in  fashion world."
The younger set can start shopping for the sportswear, denim and activewear at Macy's and Lord & Taylor in a few months, just in the time for back-to-school season.
